The CMS is a Web application: this application is installed by your administrator on a remote server, on which data and documents are stored.
The application requires no installation on the computer you use. You can access the application from any computer with web browser.

The CMS Ametys v3 has been tested with the following browsers:
- Firefox 3, 3.5, 3.6
- IE7, IE8
For an optimized work environment, it is advisable to use these browsers, even if the cms can potentially work with other browsers.
